Aditi Program

The Challenge

Lack of access to clean sanitary napkins and deep-rooted taboos around menstrual health in rural Maharashtra leads to high school absenteeism (up to 25% absences) and high risks of reproductive tract infections. Without proper guidance, young girls and women undergo severe hygiene challenges during their monthly cycles.

Our Intervention

Aanav Seva Foundation implements the Aditi Program to deliver structured Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) workshops, distribute free sanitary napkins to rural municipal schools, and build local networks of peer educators. In flagship partnership with JSW Foundation, we deploy resources and medical expertise at scale.

Free high-quality sanitary napkin distribution

Success Story

"Before the Aanav Seva Foundation launched its Menstrual Hygiene Management camps in our school, missing 4-5 days of classes every month was normal for me. I felt embarrassed to ask questions. Today, with the Aditi program, we receive high-quality sanitary napkins and open scientific guidance. I haven't missed a single day of school this semester!"
